Submission guidelines
BigDrum Publishing mainly represents quality non-fiction books dealing with the most popular sectors of the creative arts industry. We consider method books dealing with one or more aspects of an art or discipline; narrative non-fiction in the genres of memoir, biography and current events.
We are looking for authors with a mastery of their discipline, with an expert or original perspective on their subject.
Submission process:
1. We are selective when taking on new authors and accept brief electronic query letters. Please use our email form on the Contact page to begin the process and give us a brief outlline of what your book is about. Please do not send us additional information or any images.
2. If after receiving your initial contact and we think your book might fit our publishing format, we will contact you and ask you to send us the following via email:
· Your credentials
· A synopsis of your book
· No more than two chapters in the body of the email - or up to ten pages of content you feel strongly represents your work. No attachments please.
Please note: BDP will reject submissions that are poorly presented and unsolicited complete manuscripts. Please bear in mind that it takes time to clearly assess submissions, so we encourage your patience.
