Georg Voros
Georg is a professional musician, educator and author. He has written three books. His first work 'Rhythm of the Head' was originally published in 1995 and has been modernized and revised. It is an inspiring and motivational read, endorsed by top drummers who have worked with bands such as Genesis, ELP and Asia. Rhythm of the Head has positively influenced many drummers around the world and has had school and college projects based on it, and also been quoted in university theses by students of psychology.
Georg holds a Licentiate in Music Performance gained with Distinction through Rockschool (Trinity College of Music, London). He has performed and recorded with well known artists including being a member of an award winning UK band and recording with a UK Mercury Music Prize ‘Best album of the year’ nominated band. Aside from his drumming credits Georg is also a published composer in his own right.
Georg's approach to writing is refreshingly simplistic and avoids any text book format. His intention with all his books is to make them easy to read and 'hard to put down'.
