Georg Voros has an extensive background in music performance and education, and holds two Licentiates through Rockschool (Trinity College London): one in Music Performance and the other in Music Teaching, and both gained with Distinction . He has performed and recorded with well known artists including being a member of an award winning UK band and recording with a UK Mercury Music Prize ‘Best album of the year’ nominated band. Aside from his drumming credits Georg is also a published composer in his own right.
Georg's first motivational drumming book ‘Rhythm of the Head’ is endorsed by musicians/educators such as Gary Husband, Dom Famularo and Francis Seriau. He is also the founder of South Africa’s drum magazine ‘SA Drums & Percussion’ and the countries biggest drumming event The Johannesburg Drumfest.
Georg appears in two music encyclopedias (US and South Africa) and was invited to submit pro tips and the Foreword for a book entitled 'Rockin' your stage sound' by LA based sound engineer Rob Gainey.
Georg proudly endorses Sabian cymbals, Mapex drums and Vater drumsticks.
Lynne Voros has extensive corporate experience in law and publishing with Blue Chip companies in the UK. She is well respected by her peers and recognised as being super efficient and for always 'getting the job done' to the highest expectations.
Lynne co-founded, designed and produced South Africa's first drumming magazine SA drums & percussion. In addition to organising drum clinic tours and education days, she was the silent force and co-founder behind the Johannesburg DrumFest and GuitarFest events, organizing and marketing these events. Her business skills have helped the Voros partnership develop other areas such as Georg Voros School of Drumming into a well known brand and force in the music education field in South Africa.
Lynne has experience in page design and make-up and is responsible for turning raw manuscripts into valuable products.
